After deciding to have a destination wedding, I can frankly say that we struggled awhile to find a wedding planner. Our mission to find the right person led us through a chain of interactions with several different companies/persons. Most of them leaving us with frustration and doubts if our dream wedding could be realized.

But all this came to a quick turn, and our feelings turned to joy and excitement the second that we came in contact with Mariangela @My Planner. What we found in Mariangela was a perfect match for us. She is a super professional, radiating positivity, incredible easy to communicate with and a genuine nice person.

During the process of planning and making decisions, we always felt comfortable and in perfect control. She gave us accurate information and just the right amount details to have a clear overview, and she guided us through the journey with her suggestions and advice.

We felt safe and taken care of through everything, and never once felt pressured in any way making any of our choices. The best way of describing our experience is, that we felt that she had this extraordinary ability to really understand our needs and capturing our vision.

Another of her skills that really elevated our experiences, was her approach to selecting possible vendors and suppliers. The team she created for us did not just deliver quality beyond our dreams, but all of them gave us this genuine good-hearted vibe. During our wedding we really felt like they were all a part of our party and not that we were surrounded by strangers.

Our wedding can only be expressed as epic, and we will cherish the memories forever.

The entire preparation was smooth and easy, no stress whatsoever, just pleasure. Then, a couple of days before the wedding the weather went sour and we had to find another venue in 24 hours. She looked after everything, managed to find us a venue and we had the most magical day, even if it was not in our original venue. She coordinated everything smoothly with the different vendors (who are all so brilliant) and the D day ran beautifully. She surrounds herself with fantastic vendors which are not only great at what they do but are wonderful humans, willing to do everything in their power to make your day a special one. She also has the ability to see eveything and be everywhere whilst not being in the way at all.
She is just magic!

We have Mariangela to thank for the most magical and perfect wedding near Chania, Crete in July 2022. Every step of the way we felt our special day was safe in her hands. Due to Covid there were inevitable hurdles along the way, but she handled all calmly and professionally. Mariangela has a passion for her work and her attention to detail is amazing! She has a wonderful team of professionals working along side her including, photographers, hair and make-up, florists, DJ's plus a large portfolio of contacts and perfect wedding venues to choose from. We really enjoyed planning our wedding with Mariangela, she made it fun and allowed us to be as creative as we wanted to be. I am so grateful to her for making our vision come alive. There are not enough words to describe how I felt on my wedding day. It was an actual dream come true. There is no one else I would have rather had by my side than Mariangela and her team. My husband and I had to postpone our wedding due to covid. Originally scheduled for July 2021 and changed to July 2022. All I can say is- WORTH THE WAIT! We are based in the US with my parents living in Crete, Greece for most of the year. It seemed impossible at first to actually make this happen thousands of miles away but it was actually simple because of Mariangela. Every step of the way she guided us and assured us that the same vendors would be available and that everything would be how we imagined and it far exceeded our expectations. The persistence, calmness and her understanding of our vision came to life right before our eyes. The word I use to mainly describe the day is - MAGICAL! Anything and everything that we requested she made happen. Not only did I give her my ideas and vision but she was genuinely just as excited as we were to see it all come together. She advised me where to spend on our budget and where to hold off on things we didn't need. Every vendor used was exactly how she described and everyone was PERFECT. Seeing my guests enjoy the day as much as we did was what it was all about. She was there every step of the way and would always say- "don't worry", and in the end she was right about EVERYTHING!
