Kerstin & Erik
Beginning at the Sea
When Kerstin first reached out, her request seemed straightforward: she wanted to get married on the beach where she spent her childhood summers. However, this turned out to be quite an undertaking, as the beach was a remote spot on the southern coast of Crete with very challenging access.

The wedding was a beautiful testament to Kerstin and Erik's love, and also to Kerstin's lifelong connection to Crete. Here are a few highlights from their stunning day:
The Venue: Iliggas Beach, a secluded jewel in Crete, provided an incredibly natural and awe-inspiring setting for their beachfront ceremony, surrounded by dramatic cliffs and pristine waters.
The Aesthetic: A boho-rustic style, incorporating earthy colors and organic materials, was chosen to enhance the raw beauty of Crete. This included a lovely wooden arch decorated with olive branches and neutral-toned flowers.
Greek Tradition: The reception featured a delicious, authentic spread of traditional Cretan and Greek dishes, hosted at a charming, family-owned taverna right on the beach. The couple and their guests enjoyed dancing under the soft glow of string lights.
The Personal Touch: This location held extra significance for Kerstin and Erik, as it was the very beach where Eric had proposed to her, a place filled with childhood memories for Kerstin.
